The former Rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Dr. Usman David Kuti is dead.
He reportedly died on Saturday evening in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, following complications from a heart-related ailment.
Dr. Kuti, who once served as Rector of the institution, was widely admired for his visionary leadership, under which the Polytechnic witnessed notable infrastructural expansion and remarkable strides in digital innovation.
His passing has been described as a huge loss to the academic community and the people of Benue State.
