The All Progressives Congress, APC, has disqualified an aspirant in Ekiti State, Engr Kayode Ojo, from participating in the party’s primary election and gubernatorial race in the state.

This announcement was made shortly after Kayode Ojo visited the party’s secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, where he was given no reception.

APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, who made this known while addressing journalists in Abuja on Thursday, said Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi were cleared to contest in the primary.

Recall that Kayode Ojo was accompanied by thousands of supporters across the 16 local government areas of the state and shut down Ado-Ekiti ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for October 27.
