Remo Stars technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, has provided an update on the possible return date of the club’s star striker, Victor Mbaoma.

Ogunmodede hinted that Mbaoma could return for the Sky Blue Stars’ CAF Champions League second-round clash against South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mbaoma has been sidelined with a rib injury he sustained during Remo Stars’ Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) opening-day clash.

The forward also missed the team’s first-round encounter against US Zilimadjou of Comoros.

“Mbaoma is coming back after the rib injury,” Ogunmodede told Fans Arena.

“We’ve been without some important players, but they’re gradually coming back and we’re happy about that. Maybe Victor will be available for the Sundowns match, maybe.”
