Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, under the leadership of Suleiman Ahmad Badayi, has successfully achieved the re-accreditation of its Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) courses.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of Jigawa State Polytechnic, Salima Aminu Sa’ad, and issued to newsmen.

She said the team leader of the accreditation, Dr. Olusola Bode Oke, disclosed this while presenting the results to the Polytechnic Management.

She expressed satisfaction after the team thoroughly assessed academic and administrative aspects, commending the institution’s commitment to quality education in the areas of leadership, management, and organization; student support and progression; curriculum organization and implementation; infrastructure and learning resources; and assessment and evaluation.

The Rector, Dr. Suleiman Ahmad Badayi, while responding on behalf of the management, appreciated the thirteen (13)-member accreditation team, comprising three (3) NCCE officials and seven (7) subject experts drawn from tertiary institutions across the six geopolitical zones of the country, for their hard work, dedication, and efficiency.

He commended Governor Umar Namadi Danmodi for the provision of more developmental projects, including a mini solar grid for the Polytechnic and ongoing renovations within the institution aimed at improving the teaching and learning environment.

According to him, “The College of Technical and Vocational Education of the Polytechnic currently has the Department of Technical Education and the Department of Vocational Education, both offering the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE).
