Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has emphasized that his achievements, not propaganda, would speak for him in 2027.
‎
‎Speaking during a media parley in Umuahia, Otti vowed never to be distracted by those seeking attention.
‎
‎He expressed regret over opponents using malicious propaganda against his administration due to their desperation for power.
‎
‎The governor said since taking office, he has issued over 10,562 Certificates of Occupancy to property owners.

‎He also noted that his administration plans extensive road construction and reconstruction, with mandates for completion before the dry season ends.
‎
‎Otti said: “We will continue to pay attention to governance. And governance is key. We will continue our efforts toward a developmental revolution. What we are doing has started yielding positive fruits.
‎
‎“We will also pursue aggressive construction and reconstruction of roads.
‎
‎“Construction work, which slowed down at some point, has resumed with speed. We will continue to give attention to our contractors, advancing the state’s infrastructure development.”
