Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali could miss the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury, DAILY POST reports.

According to reports, Nwabali is currently battling with an ankle and hand injury.

The shot stopper was said to have aggravated the injury during the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs last month.

The 29-year-old has not featured for Chippa United since returning from the mini-tournament.

Chippa United head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi is also uncertain Nwabali will be available for the AFCON.

“I don’t think he will make it, but when I was talking to him, he was confident that he will recover very soon,” he was quoted by SuperSport.
