Several members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Katsina State have defected to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

A chieftain of the party, Austin Okai, who disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page on Monday, said the defection spanned from polling units up to the state level.

His post reads: “Katsina PDP collapsed structures from polling units, ward, LGA and State to ADC Coalition.”

DAILY POST reports that there has been a massive defection of politicians to ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

About one hundred thousand supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lega Local Government Area of Kebbi State recently left the party for ADC.
