Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has said that there was no way Nigeria would have rejected an offer from the United States to help fight terrorists in the country.

He said it would be stupid for any sane government to turn down such offers.

Keyamo stated this on X as he tries to defend the government he serves on their decision to partner with  U.S to launch attacks against terrorists in some parts of the country.

There have been public debate around the Christmas day’s air strikes in Sokoto.

The minister said the people should care more about efforts being made to rid the country, especially the North of terrorists.

“When your house is on fire, it would be stupid to prevent anyone who has fire extinguishers to come into your house and put out the fire,” the Minister said.

He said it would be unwise for anyone to be  more interested in their  privacy when the fire is raging to consume their family.

DAILY POST reported that the US government confirmed the attack on ISIS-affiliates terrorists on Thursday.

Trump boasted that the attack was successful and hit the targeted locations.
