Lagos, Nigeria – As the month of Ramadan dawns on Lagos, Hon Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye, initiator of ‘Khairat for Lagos 2027’, has extended a heartfelt message to Lagosians.
In a statement, Hon Khairat prayed for peace, prosperity, and progress for the city of Lagos and its people. She emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and community service during this holy month.

“As we observe Ramadan, let us reflect on our responsibilities towards our community and strive to make a positive impact,” she said. “I pledge my support for initiatives that uplift and empower Lagosians, particularly the vulnerable and marginalized.” She appealed to Lagosians to continue supporting the PBAT administration as it works towards transforming Lagos.
The Khairat for Lagos initiative has been working to address social and economic challenges facing Lagos, focusing on education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment.
