Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested two suspected informants linked to terrorist groups in the Mainok area of Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency and security expert in the Lake Chad region, disclosed this in a post on X on Saturday.

According to him, “Security sources said the suspects were apprehended at about 3:00 a.m. on March 18 following credible intelligence on the movement of suspected informants within the area.”

He added, “The sources said troops of 156 Task Force Battalion swiftly mobilised to the location after receiving information from local sources on suspicious activities around Mainok general area.”
