The United States, US, President, Donald Trump, has declared that the prices of oil and gas would soon go down.

Trump said the prices would go down after the Middle East war involving Iran.

Addressing reporters on Friday, Trump said he “prefers” not to resume large-scale strikes on Iran and is still negotiating.

Asked whether he is considering more strikes on Iran, Trump responded: “Why would I tell you that?”.

He claimed the US blockade on Iranian ports has been “unbelievable” and “powerful”, and that the US will have achieved a “great victory” even if it ended the conflict right now.

“If we left right now, it would take them 20 years to build back that country,” said Trump.

He predicted that the price of oil and gas will “come tumbling down” after the war.

Trump said he is not satisfied with the latest Iranian proposal, adding that he is not sure “we’re going to get to a deal” to end the war.
