The All Progressive Congress, APC, Primary Election Committee for the House of Representatives, has declared the Oye-Ikole federal constituency in Ekiti North Senatorial District as inconclusive.

Wasiu Adedoyin, the chairman of the committee and chief returning officer, who announced the result of Saturday’s election on Sunday morning, said the declaration was a result of the challenges and crisis observed by the committee during the primary election.

He added that the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, will take the final decision on the federal constituency.

DAILY POST reports that Akin Rotimi, the spokesman of the House of Representatives, is seeking re-election with his main challenger being former lawmaker, Bimbo Daramola.
