The Executive Director of Finance at the South West Development Commission, SWDC, Tele Ogunjobi, has advised the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State to approach the 2027 elections with strategic coordination and an aggressive grassroots campaign in order to secure victories across the state.
Ogunjobi noted that all members of the party must remain steadfast, organised and fully committed to the APC’s electoral agenda.
He made the declaration on Friday at a strategic political meeting held in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, the 2027 elections would require a well-coordinated grassroots mobilisation strategy capable of translating political support into actual votes at the polling units.
The APC chieftain also declared a renewed and unwavering commitment to the electoral victory of the party in the 2027 general elections, calling for massive support for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
Speaking at the meeting, he also directed the Tele Ogunjobi Political Movement to commence the appointment and deployment of two dedicated canvassers in every polling unit across the three local government areas that make up the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
He asserted that the initiative is designed to strengthen the movement’s grassroots presence, establish direct communication with voters and ensure that every polling unit becomes a focal point for sustained political engagement, voter mobilisation and election-day coordination.
The political leader further charged members of his movement to take the message of the APC directly to the people, insisting that effective political mobilisation must go beyond meetings and rallies to sustained engagement at the ward and polling-unit levels.
Among the political leaders who attended the meeting was the Director-General of Caucus 7202, Olaseni Koiki, who led other leaders and members of the group to the gathering.
In a show of solidarity, members who converged from the three local government areas reaffirmed their loyalty to the movement and their readiness to participate actively in the emerging 2027 mobilisation structure.
