Alhaji Yakubu Muri Ajaka has called for greater investment in the aspirations and potential of young Nigerians, saying the country’s future will be shaped by the opportunities created for its youth to learn, innovate, lead and prosper.

Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka

‎‎He made the call in his message commemorating Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, in which he also urged Nigerians to draw strength from the country’s resilience and renew their commitment to unity and national progress.

‎As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, we celebrate the resilience, courage and hope that continue to define us as a people. Our journey has not been without challenges, but I believe deeply in the promise of a stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria, he said.

Turning specifically to young Nigerians, particularly those in Kogi State, Muri described them as “the strength of today and the hope of tomorrow,” stressing that their ambitions and contributions must remain central to the country’s development.
