Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about the health challenges she has faced in recent months, revealing that she celebrated her 25th birthday in a wheelchair after enduring severe pain and mobility difficulties.

She disclosed this in an Instagram post on Saturday, marking her 25th birthday and reflecting on her ongoing health struggles.

According to the Nollywood star, her condition worsened after a Children’s Day carnival, leaving her unable to walk on some days despite undergoing repeated medical tests.

“I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor but eventually led to this.

“It’s been one test after another that I started calling myself a lab rat. The pain became too excruciating; sometimes I am walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she said.

The development comes months after she went quiet on social media, before a video surfaced online allegedly showing her in a dispute with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, amid allegations of domestic violence.
