ICP Benneth Igweh, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Commissioner, has been promoted to Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police. Born on October 7, 1968, in Akatta, Orlu-East Local Government Area of Imo State, CP Igweh obtained a first degree in Estate Management and a second degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He enlisted in the Nigeria Police Force in 1996 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent and has since risen through the ranks, leaving an indelible mark on every posting.
