The Commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, said the suspects were arrested in an early hour sting operation at Uyeh Heaven and Ayam estates, along Ring Road 3 in Uyo.

The statement said the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet crimes.

It listed the items recovered from them to include five laptops, 10 mobile phones and one iPad. The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
