There was mild drama at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday as two lawyers appeared for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a suit filed by the Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees (BoT) against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, has been laid to rest amid tears in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State. DAILY POST recalls that the actor died on May 11, 2026, at 40 after battling with kidney cancer. The funeral started on Wednesday in Ujari Village, Arochukwu, for a wake-keep ceremony. The funeral service was held on Thursday at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, before the final internment  at his family compound. A 48-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly luring a housegirl, 13, into his house and spending a night with her.
