Governor Umar Namadi has signed into law the 2026 Jigawa State Polling Unit Development Fund Bill, a new initiative designed to take governance and development directly to communities across the state. Illegal structures, comprising movable containers, shanties, tables and projections have been demolished by the Abia State government at Ubakala junction, Umuahia South local government area of the State.
