President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said participating lenders have extended N46.95 billion in loans through the National Credit Guarantee Company, NCGC. Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA) has issued a caution alert over the collapse of a section of the Bauchi-Damaturu-Maiduguri federal highway. The Nigerian Army has deployed 178 personnel from the 236 Tank Battalion to Headquarters Sector 8, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The deployment, carried out at about 4:40pm on September 25, 2026, is part of the Army’s recent restructuring aimed at strengthening security operations.
