The Taraba State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has intercepted a suspected human trafficker and rescued 10 minors in Jalingo. The African Union (AU) has expressed deep concern over the recent developments in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, following clashes between government troops and Tigrayan forces. Chairperson of the AU Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, highlighted the importance of preserving the “hard-won gains” achieved under the AU-led Permanent Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (COHA). Enyimba have announced the appointment of Uche Okechukwu as their new sporting director, DAILY POST reports. Okechukwu takes over from Ifeanyi Ekwueme, who resigned from the post earlier this week.
