The Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) has issued a strong warning to MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited over reports of the indiscriminate creation of new customer accounts without the provision of meters ,a move the Commission described as a direct violation of its regulatory framework. The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, has confirmed that the military is fully engaged in ongoing operations to rescue students abducted in Kebbi and Niger States and to apprehend the perpetrators.
