The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, says its operatives have arrested seven persons allegedly involved in internet fraud in Akwa Ibom. The Commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, said the suspects were arrested in an early hour sting operation at Uyeh Heaven and Ayam estates, along Ring Road 3 in Uyo. The statement said the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet crimes.
