Following a disagreement within the leadership of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Kano State Chapter, after the entry of the former Governor of Kano State and National Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, the party’s national leadership has intervened and restored unity.

The party’s parent body, under the leadership of Sen. Seriake Henry Dickson, held a special meeting on Tuesday with Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Engr. Muhammad Sabo Bakin Zuwo, Vice Chairman, Northwest, and other senior leaders of the party in attendance.

At the end of the deliberations, a resolution was reached affirming that Hon. Husaini Isah Mai Riga shall continue to serve as the Chairman of the NDC in Kano State.
