The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old man, Emmanuel Jacob, in connection with the alleged theft of seven solar panels belonging to the Federal Government Girls’ College, Bauchi.
The command said four of the stolen panels had been recovered from the suspect, while efforts were ongoing to recover the remaining three and apprehend those who received the stolen items.

Spokesman of the command, SP Nafiu Habib, in a statement issued in Bauchi said the case was promptly reported and handled by operatives of ‘A’ Division, Township, Bauchi, as part of the command’s efforts under the Safe School Initiative to combat property-related crimes around educational institutions.
