Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük has revealed what will happen to Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen if Nigeria reach the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 2025 AFCON will be played from December 21 to January 18.
Speaking about Osimhen, Küçük said on the SkySpor YouTube channel, that the 26-year-old will be able to feature for Galatasaray if the Super Eagles reach the AFCON final.
He also added that Osimhen might miss Galatasaray’s Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid.
“Galatasaray players are unaware of the threat of the African Cup starting in December. Victor Osimhen will join the Nigerian National Team camp in the second week of December,” Küçük said.
“If Nigeria advances to the African Cup final, Osimhen will be unable to play for Galatasaray until January 20th. He will be unable to play in four Süper Lig matches.
“There’s also a chance he’ll miss the Atletico Madrid match. In this scenario, Okan Buruk is trying to win over Icardi,” he stated.
