Nigerians on social media have reacted to Super Eagles’ 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier on Tuesday.
DAILY POST reports that Guinea-Bissau defeated Nigeria at the 24 de Setembro National Stadium in Bissau.
Franculino Djú opened the scoring for the hosts in the first half, thanks to an assist from Renato Nhaga.
Mama Baldé doubled the advantage of Guinea-Bissau in the 65th minute before Álvaro Djaló netted a late stoppage-time goal for the home team.
Reacting, some Nigerians expressed disappointment over the Super Eagles’ display against Guinea-Bissau, while others criticised some of the players.
