At least 40 people lost their lives on Saturday following a strike on a girls’ school in southern Iran, according to state media reports.

The incident occurred amid military actions involving Israel and the United States.

State television reported that the Minab girls’ elementary school in Hormozgan province was struck, leaving 45 others injured.

In response to the escalating security situation, Bahrain announced that all schools and universities would shift to distance learning until further notice.

The country’s Ministry of Education stated, “As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, all educational institutions will transition to distance learning effective tomorrow and until further notice.”
