The Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted four out of the five accused persons put on trial by the Department of State Services, DSS, over the June 5, 2022 attack on Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, in Ondo State. Forty-three worshipers were killed in the attack. Five accused persons were put on trial by the DSS for alleged complicity in the crime but only four were convicted. Troops of Operation Safe Peace have arrested two suspects and recovered ammunition during a stop-and-search operation in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.The information was contained in a post shared on X on Wednesday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama. A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has sentenced a man, Abdulrahman Lawal Raji, to 15 years imprisonment for defrauding a buyer of N26 million under the guise of supplying a Toyota Hilux vehicle.
