The Chief Judge of Taraba state, Justice Joel Agya, on Thursday signed into law, the Taraba State Area Courts (Civil Procedure) Rules 2026 and the Taraba State District Courts Rule 2026. Ukraine has announced the recovery of the bodies of two Nigerian nationals in the Luhansk region, alleging that the men were fighting on the side of Russia in the protracted conflict between both countries. In a statement released on yesterday, Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence of Ukraine identified the deceased as Hamzat Kazeen Kolawole, aged 42, and Mbah Stephen Udoka, 38. The Osun State Police Command has arrested a 54-year-old man, Ojo David Oluwasesan, over an alleged visa fraud amounting to N8,410,000. The command also warned members of the public to be wary of fraudulent travel agents. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that the three Bus and Taxi Terminals constructed by the FCT Administration (FCTA) will begin operation once the the Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement for the operations and management of the terminals is approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
