The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the Nigeria Police Force of being used as a tool of political suppression, warning that recent actions against its leaders are dangerous for democracy. Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has once again cautioned truck operators against the unauthorized use of its logo on their vehicles, stressing that such actions have brought considerable embarrassment to the brand. The company noted that despite earlier cautions, some truck operators with no ties to Dangote still use its logo on their vehicles, often for personal benefit or other undisclosed reasons. A young farmer is battling for his life after being brutally attacked by suspected armed Fulani herdsmen at Tse-Iordye in Ndzorov Council Ward, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has accused the state Commissioner of Police of violating the constitution. El-Rufai said the summon sent to him was a dangerous descent into lawlessness by the state police Command. Uche completed a deadline-day move to Selhurst Park from La Liga club Getafe.
