The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University (TSU) branch, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Taraba State Government, Governor Agbu Kefas and the university management to implement the union’s outstanding demands or face industrial action. The Benue State Police Command has recovered a newborn baby who was allegedly taken from his mother at a healthcare facility in Gboko Local Government Area. Some suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident. A road crash involving a heavy-duty truck at Wuya village along the Bida-Mokwa Road in Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State has claimed the lives of 18 people.
