Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has reacted to the death of actor Alex Ekubo.

DAILY POST gathered that the actor died in a Lagos hospital on Monday after battling stage 4 liver cancer.

Reacting to the cause of Alex’s death, Blessing CEO, who appeared to be referring to her earlier stage 4 cancer claim, wrote in fear: “God will punish cancer.”

Sharing Alex’s picture on her Instagram page, she wrote: “God will punish cancer. We waited for u to show up. You fought silently. Rest in peace.”

DAILY POST reports that Blessing CEO had, in March 2026, solicited financial help from the public for her alleged stage 4 breast cancer chemotherapy treatment.

Reacting to a medical report she shared to back her claim, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, accused her of altering the report of another patient from Xinus Medical Diagnostics, which was signed by consultant pathologist, Dr. O.A. Odigwe.

Following the controversy, social media influencer VeryDarkMan, in a petition approved by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), requested an investigation into Blessing CEO.
