Doctors under the Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCTA), have praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for approving the payment of 13 months hazard allowance arrears and one month wage award.

The doctors made this known in a letter of appreciation dated January 15, 2026, where they commended the minister for what they described as his commitment to the welfare of healthcare workers in the FCT.

The letter, signed by the ARD-FCTA President, Dr. George Ebong, and the General Secretary, Dr. Yusuf Israel Lissa, read in part: “Warm greetings from the leadership and entire members of Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCTA).
