The Commander, 14 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General A.M. Dikko, has praised the troops of the Brigade for their unwavering commitment to the service of the nation and commended their sacrifices in ensuring peace and security within the Brigade’s area of responsibility and beyond.

Brigadier General Dikko, who stated this in Ohafia during a special Jumma’at prayer to mark the 2026 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL), urged all personnel to remain diligent, disciplined, and professional in the discharge of their constitutional duties.

He stressed that dedication, loyalty, teamwork, and adherence to the core values of the Nigerian Army remain essential to achieving operational success.

Brigadier General Dikko encouraged the troops to continue supporting the vision and leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Waidi Shaibu, and to maintain the highest standards of military ethics, discipline, and operational readiness.

He expressed confidence in the ability of the officers and soldiers to remain resolute in the face of emerging security challenges while upholding the honour and reputation of the Nigerian Army.

In his sermon at the Central Mosque, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, Ohafia, as part of the NADCEL celebration, the Imam, Murtala Sabi, extolled the virtues of righteousness, discipline, patience, gratitude, and total reliance on Almighty Allah in all undertakings.

Special prayers were offered for lasting peace in Nigeria, unity, stability, and prosperity across the nation, as well as for the continued success of the 82 Division, 14 Brigade, and all formations and units of the Nigerian Army.
