Former Vice President and presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a mother and her six children in Dorayi Chiranchi, Kano State, describing the act as “senseless violence against innocent Nigerians.”

DAILY POST reports that the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday when the housewife’s nephew, Umar Auwalu led the syndicate to the residence.

In a statement released on Sunday, Atiku expressed his deep sorrow over the tragedy, extending his thoughts and prayers to the grieving family and the wider community.

He further questioned whether recent directives to security agencies are being implemented effectively or remain “merely political talk.”
