Troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA have foiled an attempted abduction and rescued 14 kidnapped victims in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The operation took place on Tuesday afternoon around Magazu Village following credible intelligence about the movement of armed attackers in the area.

According to a post shared on X by security analyst Bakatsine on Wednesday, the troops responded to the intelligence and engaged the attackers, forcing them to abandon their vehicle and escape into the bushes.

The troops then carried out a follow-up search of the area, during which they found and rescued 14 kidnap victims.
