Former Real Madrid manager, Fabio Capello has suggested that the return of defender Gleison Bremer is the only way Juventus can stop Victor Osimhen in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff against Galatasaray.

Juventus will host the Turkish Super Lig champions at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday.

The Serie A giants had lost 5-2 against Galatasaray in the first leg in Turkey last week.

Osimhen was impressive as he provided two assists during the encounter, and goals from Yunus Akgün, Noa Lang, Davinson Sánchez, and Sacha Boey gave Galatasaray the victory against the Old Lady.

However, Capello believes having Bremer fit to play the second leg will help Juventus deal with the threat of the likes of Osimhen and Barış Alper Yılmaz.

Recall that Bremer started the first leg against Galatasaray but was forced off after just 34 minutes because of an injury he sustained during the tie.

”Bremer’s return is crucial. He is a vital factor against Osimhen and Barış Alper Yılmaz’s speed in open spaces,” Capello said as quoted by La Gazzetta.

“What happened after Bremer came off in the first match is clear; Barış Alper forced many yellow cards, and the defense struggled.”
