US forces are attempting to board the Russian-flagged Marinera oil tanker in the North Atlantic Sea.

Fox News reports that the development comes after Russia was reported to have sent a submarine and other naval assets to escort the tanker.

According to the report, the Russian vessel has spent more than two weeks attempting to slip past US enforcement efforts targeting sanctioned oil shipments near Venezuela.

DAILY POST reported that the US military under the directive of President Donald Trump captured Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro along his wife.

The development came a few months after the US government doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of Maduro to $50 million.
