Iran has described the United States invasion of Venezuela as a flagrant violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

This is as it even accused the United States of being behind explosions that rocked the capital.

The Iranian foreign ministry said in a statement, “We condemn in totality US attack on Venezuela.”

At the time of filing this report, Washington has yet to comment on the blasts in Venezuela.

DAILY POST had reported that President Donald Trump announced the capture of Maduro and his wife on Saturday.

Trump in a post via his Truth Social on Saturday said US forces had captured Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro after launching a “large-scale strike” on the South American country.
