Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Igboho, on Thursday said the Iru Ekun Security Outfit will support President Bola Tinubu in the fight against bandits, kidnappers and other criminals in the South-West.

Igboho assured that the security outfit will keep working until bandits and kidnappers are dealt with.

In a statement by his Media Office, the activist urged the people of the region to inform security agencies before they take on bandits, kidnappers and criminals.

The statement reads: “It is clear to everyone that the bad actions of dishonest herdsmen, thieves, and kidnappers, who have been troubling our farming areas and other communities, have stopped since the Iru Ekun Security Network started working with support from the police, military, and DSS agents.

“We are not going to stop or give in until the South West forests, highways, and farming areas are safe for everyone. We can’t let criminals turn the area into a safe place for them.

“All possible human and legal efforts should be made to assist President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which approved the creation of Iru Ekun to help develop the South West region and other areas of Nigeria.

“This can only be done with strong security in our area. We are determined and will not stop our fight against bandits, kidnappers, and other criminals in the South West.

“If you pay attention, you’ll see that cases of kidnapping, bandit attacks, and conflicts between herders and farmers have decreased. We keep up this effort and make sure the South West stays safe from those criminals.”
