The United States is intensifying its search for the top three leaders of Tren de Aragua, TdA, a Foreign Terrorist Organization, FTO, designated by the Trump administration in 2025.

The Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, in partnership with the FBI, DEA, and Department of Justice, announced an expanded bounty on Thursday.

The reward offers, totaling up to $50 million under the Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program, are for information leading to the arrests and/or convictions of the cartel bosses.

The bounty for Yohan José Romero, a.k.a. “Yohan Petrica,” is now up to $20 million, up from up to $4 million; while that of Juan Gabriel Rivas Núñez, alias “Juancho,” is up to $15 million.

For Giovanni Vicente Mosquera Serrano, a.k.a. “Giovanni” and “El Viejo”, the reward offer has been increased from up to $5 million to at most $15 million.

Court documents show that Romero is the TdA’s current leader and directs the group’s operations, listed as narcotrafficking, illegal gold mining in Venezuela, and murders.

The Feds say Serrano and Núñez are both second-in-command, with Serrano overseeing TdA operations in the US, Colombia, and Central America, while Núñez heads TdA operations in Venezuela.

Serrano, who is among the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and accused of directing acts of violence involving robbery and kidnapping, faces charges for international cocaine distribution.

A superseding indictment filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas charged him and others with conspiracy to provide and attempt to provide material support to an FTO.

Tren de Aragua was previously led by Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias “Niño Guerrero,” until he died on June 12, 2026, in a joint US-Venezuelan military airstrike in Bolívar, Venezuela.
