Amid the amendment of the Electoral Act on Tuesday, spokesman of the Senate, Yemi Adaramodu, has said lawmakers painstakingly worked for the best interest of Nigerians. Abia North Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has declared his full support for the Senate’s decision to approve the electronic transmission of election results directly from polling units. Orji Kalu expressed his support in a statement following Tuesday’s emergency plenary.
