Kogi State political leader and former governorship candidate, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for successfully overcoming the recent attempt to recall her from the Senate.

In a message addressed to the distinguished senator representing Kogi Central, Ajaka commended her unwavering commitment to the people and her resilience in the face of adversity

“Dear Senator Natasha Akpoti,” Ajaka wrote. “I warmly congratulate you on overcoming the recent attempt to recall you from the Senate. Your commitment to serving the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District remains unmatched and historical in the face of adversity, and I commend your resilience.”

He also noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s declaration that the recall petition failed to meet constitutional requirements was a clear reflection of the trust and confidence that the people of Kogi Central have in her leadership.

“I have no doubt that you will continue to be a strong advocate for their needs and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s democracy,” he added.

Ajaka concluded by reaffirming his support for Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s pursuit of justice and equitable representation, emphasizing the need for leaders who stand firm in their service to the people.

This development marks yet another victory for the senator, who has been a vocal advocate for good governance and the empowerment of Kogi Central.
