The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has announced that it has restored electricity supply to the Karu–Keffi–Akwanga Transmission Line after repairing three collapsed towers.

TCN disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, saying electricity supply was restored at around 5:31 pm.

Consequently, TCN restored electricity supply to the 132/33kV Keffi and Akwanga Transmission Stations.

“TCN remains committed to maintaining and strengthening its transmission infrastructure to ensure the reliable and efficient transmission of bulk electricity across the country,” TCN stated.

DAILY POST reports that three TCN transmission towers collapsed on October 7, 2026, following heavy rainfall and strong winds.
