Jigawa LGA orders clearing of bush suspected as criminal hideouts

The chairman of Birnin Kudu local government area in Jigawa State has ordered the clearing of all researved grazing areas with thick bushes suspected to be used as hideouts by criminal elements across the area.

The order was issued by the Chairman of Birnin Kudu local government, Muhammed Uba following a message conveyed to the council by the representative of the Emir of Dutse and Peace Ambassador, Alhaji Ado Ahmed.

He explained that the action became necessary after reports of criminal activities in some bushy areas reserved for grazing within parts of the Dutse Emirate, which are believed to be serving as safe havens for criminals.
